I read this article on the Anime News Network. A very interesting and creative approach if I must say so myself. While using manga to promote various functions of Japanese society is not new, this is the first time I’ve heard about employing manga to promote the work of the ministry of foreign affairs. I strongly believe that this guy is behind all this. It’s a shame that his political attitudes can be similar to Shinku’s high and mighty attitudes when it comes to mending relations with China and Korea (amongst other issues).
